Lilly had a sewing machine for Christmas and is starting to learn this wonderful skill of machine sewing.
As a challenge we have decided to support the hearts donations which issues hearts to children in hospital to spread a little love.
Lilly is hoping to sew at least 106 hearts to represent the number of children that we have in school. If you would like to support Lilly with this challenge please request a heart template via the Kingfisher website.
We are looking for a parent or grandparent who is happy to sew up the final hole to ensure all the stuffing does not come out.
The hearts need to be made in matching pairs as the idea is that the child in hospital has one heart and the parent takes the other heart.
If you can help to provide stuffing or fabric please send into school for the attention of Lilly.
Lilly is promoting the school values of love and teamwork.

Shoebox Appeal - Christmas 2020
This year we will again be supporting the 'Love in a Box' Christmas Shoebox Appeal which is a nationwide appeal to provide Christmas gifts to vulnerable children and families in Romania.
It is over 25 years since the origination of the idea of the ‘Christmas Shoebox’, where families in the UK are asked to fill shoeboxes with stocking fillers for Romanian orphans.
Please be a part of this ongoing story that is continuing to impact and change lives by donating a shoebox to this year’s appeal!
For more information on how to do this, please see the information below. If you would like a printed copy of the information, please contact school and we will gladly provide this for you.
We will be asking for shoeboxes to be bought into school early w/c 2nd November and will confirm the exact date as soon as we know when they will be collected. Please do not bring shoeboxes into school until we advise on the collection date as we do not have the storage room for these.
Many Thanks!
Well done Robin class for raising £183.00 for the Doorstep School in Kolkata.
