A message from our Headteacher.

It is a real privilege to welcome you to Stanley St Andrew's Church of England Primary School.

I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher of our small, friendly school, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. At Stanley St Andrew's, we want our children to be happy, feel safe and develop a genuine love of learning.

Our Christian vision is at the heart of who we are:

To inspire all children to flourish by sharing their individual light during a life of fullness within God's love of all.

Our eight school values of Happiness, Peace, Truth, Respect, Teamwork, Dedication, Trust and Love help us to live out this vision every day. They are much more than words. They shape how we learn, how we treat one another and how we contribute to our school and wider community.

We have high expectations for every child. We want our pupils to be curious, confident and ambitious learners who are willing to challenge themselves and develop the knowledge and skills they need for the future.

Through an ambitious and carefully sequenced curriculum, we are committed to helping children know more, remember more and flourish. We want learning to be meaningful and memorable, enabling pupils to build secure knowledge over time, make connections across subjects and develop the confidence to apply what they have learnt in a wide range of contexts.

Just as importantly, we want our children to grow into kind, respectful and compassionate young people who recognise their own unique gifts and the gifts of others. We believe that every child has the potential to shine, and it is our role to nurture, encourage and inspire them to become the very best version of themselves.

For me, a successful school is built upon strong relationships. Children achieve their very best when they know that the adults around them believe in them and when school and home work together in genuine partnership. I want our parents and carers to feel welcomed, listened to and very much part of the Stanley St Andrew's family.

As Headteacher, I am excited to build upon everything that already makes our school special. Working alongside our children, staff, families, governors, church and wider community, I am committed to ensuring that Stanley St Andrew's continues to grow and flourish.
