Year 1 and 2 have been looking at plants, and so we have grown Pinto beans and seen directly what plants need and why, for example, the Pinto bean planted in a cup and put in the fridge didn't grow and the planted bean on the radiator didn't grow because it was to hot. We then looked at quicker growing seeds of cress.
