Shapes:


We have also been looking at 2d and 3d shapes and whether they stack, roll or both.
Ball skills and team games:

As a class we have been pracitisng our ball skills; throwing, catching, rolling and kicking. We have also been looking at teamwork and what it means and how we can play team games. We have looked at the rules of the game and started to think of tactics.
Fine motor skills:


We have been using our pincer grip to squirt water with the pipettes, use cotton buds to paint with and use hand movements to spray water.
Our disgusting yucky gucky sandwiches:



We have made the best yucky gucky sandwiches ever linked ot our story of the Light housekeepers lunch.
Exploring printing with paint:



We have printed using our fingers, hands, wheels, animals, sticklebricks and more to explore how much paint we need, how much pressure to apply and how you can print without smudging.
Outdoor learning
Today we have been playing in the water, painting junk modelling, playing with dolls and in the construction area. We did our phonics outside and our writing. We had a great morning.





Counting using numicon
This morning we have been using Numicon to make up the numbers on our number cards.


Writing outside
The reception children have been using chalk and sound mats to write outside.



Music
We have been listening to music and moving up and down with the tone of the music, we have also been drawing lines up and down to the music.
