Animals

We had a great opportunity to meet some unusual animals. We had the chance to hold a snake, tortoise, an armadillo and we even stroked a skunk!

First Aid

Thank you to Andy for sharing his knowledge, teaching us how to do CPR and showing us how to put someone in to the recovery position.

Art

We have been learning about an artist called Vanessa Gardiner, we have created a fact file and even had a go at creating coastlines using straight lines with bold colours.

Wow! Amazing piece of artwork created at home, well done!

Science

In Science, we have been learning about filtration – we had a cup, a dry wipe, a rubber band and some muddy water with lots of debris mixed in. We had to work out how to make the water as clean as possible.

Boxercise was so much fun, we learnt lots of new skills.

We have been learning about the golden and silver rule and what they are.

Art

Landscapes and cityscapes – over the past 2 weeks we have been creating images of coastlines using different types of media. Today we drew cityscapes based on London. We used mixed media to create our wonderful pictures.

Science

We have been learning about what dissolving is and how to conduct a fair test. Sugar, coffee, flour, pepper and tea were placed in plastic pots and warm water was added to see if they were soluble or insoluble.
