St Andrew's Church of England Primary School An intelligent heart acquires knowledge and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Proverbs 18:15

Monday 4th January

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and enjoyed time with your families.

Due to the current situation, we are setting home learning work on a daily basis.

We recognise that every one of you is dealing with a totally unique situation, and understand that “one size does not fit all”, just as it does not in the classroom.

How you work with your child depends on many factors and we understand that for some of you the work we share is just right for your child, we also understand that we may have sent too much (or too little) work.

Some worksheets are differentiated for the children: please choose the appropriate level for your child – one star (easiest), two stars or three stars (hardest).

Our main aim is that you feel comfortable doing what you do and your child is able to access what we send as independently as possible.

Please do not worry if you can’t do everything; this is a time when being safe with family and doing creative or simple tasks together is more important.

Thank you.

Kingfisher team.

Please send any completed work or queries to

Thank you.

Complete the differentiated reading comprehension questions about Anglo Saxon and Scots Invaders.

The White Rose Maths Team has prepared a series of five maths lessons for each year group from Year 1-6.

Please follow the link to click onto your current year group and follow the teaching videos and learning tasks for the day.

The link to use is:
