Reading Challenges

  • SEPTEMBER READING CHALLENGE The Schoolreaders Book Review Competition is open until the 30th September and there are some fantastic book prizes to be won for the school and the individual children as well as a chance for a whole class to enjoy a talk from award-winning children’s author M. G. Leonard. Please send out information to your school’s parents and carers or use it as an English literacy exercise for the whole class. Good luck

 WINTER MINI READING CHALLENGE

The Winter Reading Challenge is almost here. Follow the link to their website for all the information on how to take part, download the free resource pack and check out some great reads for parents this winter.

 

Please take pictures and send in any book reviews so we can share with the rest of the school.

Summer Reading Challenge 2020

Despite Covid-19, the summer reading challenge is still going ahead this year.  Follow the link to their website for all the information on how to take part and for their advice on how to access reading materials this summer.

 

There is also a local book exchange that has been set up in West Hallam where you may be able to access new reading material locally.
