Messy Mondays

For Christmas we made our own salt dough and used it to mould individual Christmas decorations for our Christmas trees. Brightly painting them gave them extra sparkle.

To celebrate Saint Andrew's Day we made papier mache fish and painted them bright coulours. Finally we joined the fish together to create a brilliant mobile.

The ultimate chalenge - to create a rainbow only using red, blue and yellow paint. Lots of colour mixing here.

Using ourcolour mixing knowledge learnt, we mixed orange paint from red and yellow and created an autumn window cling using leaves to print with.

Messy Monday Club is all about having fun with paint and yes it's about getting messy!

 

We have learnt about the properties of the primary colours- red, blue and yellow and how to mix primary colours - green, purple and orange.

 

We even found out what colour we make when we mix primary and secondary colours together.
