19.1.18
This afternoon, Golden Eagles have enjoyed being professors as they carried out a series of experiments.
This terms class topic for science is all about properties and changes of materials.
Today we used sieving and magnetism to separate different solids. Here are a few pictures from our exciting afternoon.
If you have any books or artefacts you could bring into class, that would be great.
Poppy Field
By Lily Scott
Red for the bloodshed,
The poppies petals,
Precious like paper,
Gone lives full of love.
The guns that they held,
Were lone protection,
The fight that they fought,
Full of affection,
Only to protect their children’s future,
Their hope to come home to their family,
Is stilled as they lie in a field of poppies.
The black for their lives,
The death they had seen,
The life that had been,
The green is this life,
Full of happiness,
Love, hope, harmony,
Hope to get home soon.
With a single poppy in hand,
What we will use to remember
Always remember,
We will remember.
Welcome to Golden Eagles!
British Artists
