The year 5's had a great morning at UTC in Derby, they had interviews with the judges, their locomotives were tested along tracks and then finally their shoebox vehicles were put to the test.

The Year 5s and 6s were making their own electric locomotives last week with Mrs McGuiness in pairs. We used wood, batteries and cardboard to make them. They all looked splendid and have been put on display in Angelou.
