Eco Challenges

Please email your evidence over to the robins@st-andrews-pri.derbyshire.sch.uk email address so pictures, videos etc… can be added to our Eco page so we can continue working towards our silver award. By emailing the photos, videos etc…you are giving permission for us to use the items on our school webpage.

Plastic

• Create a PowerPoint about how plastic is ruining the planet
• Create a list of different things we can use instead of plastic E.g. paper bags

Bin it

• Take a walk around where you live, take 5 pictures of litter that you see and create a poster to explain why litter is bad.

Nature

• Collect materials like leaves and sticks and make an eco-picture
• Draw a landscape
• Plant some seeds

Recycle

• Create a poster or word document about reduce, reuse, recycle.

Quiz

• Create an Eco quiz for your friends and family

Birds

• Take some pictures of you Bird watching
• Make a Bird feeder
• Sketch some birds

Save energy

• Create a poster explaining ways to save energy
• Take pictures of ways you are saving energy
• Write a leaflet about ways to save energy

Save Water

• Create a poster explaining ways to save energy
• Take pictures of ways you are saving energy
