115g butter or margarine
55g caster sugar
140g plain flour
40g chocolate chips
1. Heat the oven to 180c or gas mark 4.
2. Beat the sugar and butter until fluffy.
3. Mix in the flour and chocolate chips with your hand until you have a dough.
4. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and flatten with your palm.
5. Put them onto a baking tray slightly apart and cook for 10 - 12 minutes.
