Breakfast & After School Club

Activities in after school club.

Activities in breakfast Club.

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club is open from 7.30am and offers children a wide choice of breakfast items including cereal and toast, alongside croissants, yoghurt and fruit.

After School Club

Our after school club is open until 6pm and aims to provide the children somewhere to relax after a busy day at school. We have a range of activities on offer for all children such as: arts, crafts, sports, computing and problem solving.

After school club can also be used to support children with outstanding homework that they may have and provide extra help if needed. Children are encouraged to have a balance of completing homework and enjoying the variety of activities on offer. There are many different activities planned and changed on a weekly basis, relating to the children’s interests, topics being studied within school or current events that are happening in the world.

The staff who run after school club also work within school and therefore continue to promote the school’s ethos, behaviour system and expectations.

Charges do apply for both breakfast club and after school club and these are detailed in our Charging & Remissions Policy.

Free sessions are available for children in receipt of free school meals (FSM). The school office will contact all families who are eligible for free sessions to see if they would like to make use of this provision.

Childcare offers for parents

Over a million families in the UK are entitled to support with the costs of childcare from the government, but many don’t realise that they’re eligible. By utilising the different offers, parents and carers with children aged 0–16 could get financial support worth thousands of pounds.

Along with the usual types of childcare (e.g. childminders and nurseries) the support packages can be used across many different types of providers, such as:

  • Holiday activity clubs
  • School wraparound care
  • Extracurricular clubs such and sports, drama, and music tuition
  • Religious settings, i.e. Jewish yeshivas and chedarim, Muslim madrassahs and Christian Sunday schools

If you would like further information on what help may be available for your family, please visit the Childcare Choices website, where you can check that you’re not missing out on the support you could be entitled to.
