R.E - God's Kingdom - our interpretation of what Heaven looks like to Christians.

We have started our term off with two theme days about the Mayans. We learnt location and era and filled in a map of all the places where the Mayan people lived. Together we found out about the Maya counting system and wrote a fact file on religion and gods. As a class we became historians and took in all the information about Mayan writing. After break we analysed a picture by Frederick Catherwood and  wrote what we could see in the picture. We went head-to-head in a debate: Maize Vs. Chocolate as they both played a big part in the Mayan culture and civilisation.
